This elegant French coffee table features an ornate black frame with dramatic “S” scrolled legs and a horizontal stretcher with a collar that is highlighted in hand-applied gold. This style is typical of 1940s-50s French design. The original marble top is rich black with heavy gold veining throughout and it is inset in a braided frame that is also finished in hand-applied gold.
